In a country where religion overpowers everything else it is easy to con people and their sentiments. The underbelly of India, even today is polluted by the nexus of these so called, self righteous gurus or babas in our socio-political systems. When all else fails, the vulnerability of people makes them throng to these “holy” individuals who can easily fool and amass great wealth in the name of religion.
Chillam Pehelwan, played by Abhimanyu Singh takes his final rufuge in religion after he sees no other way of making money and getting fame. After his political friends can no longer support and protect him he starts digging his evil claws into the skin of unsuspecting innocent people who blindly follow his teachings. On the pretext of religion and blind faith he collects huge amounts of power and wealth. This accomplishment gives him a free ticket into Indian politics.
A group of practical and logical thinking individuals notice the bogus promises and teachings of Chillam and try to control the spread of his viciousness and greed for power.
