Laxman, played by Sharman Joshi, Gopal, played by Ajay Devgn, Madhav, played by Arshad Warsi and Lucky, played by Tusshar Kapoor are close college friends living in a dormitory. Laxman is a academically very good but due to the company of his friends always gets into trouble and his grades suffer. The principal of the college evicts the four friends when he comes to know they are running scams to pass their exams. The friends then come across a blind couple who live in a huge bungalow and are waiting for their grandson Sameer to return from America and inherit a treasure in their house. Gopal pretends to be Sameer and his three friends sneak inside with him.
The old man accidentally touches Laxman and thinks its Sameer so they use Gopal’s voice and Laxman’s body to make up Sameer whenever the old man is around. The friends continue fooling the couple and living in their house. One day however, the old man Somnath, played by Paresh Rawal tells the boys the truth that Sameer was killed in a car accident with his parents and his ashes are with him. He only lied about him to keep his wife happy as she still thinks he is alive. Later a gangster reveals that diamonds are hidden in the urn where the ashes are also kept.
The movie is directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Dhillin Mehta. The music is composed by Vishal-Shekhar. The cinematography is by Aseem Bajaj.
