Gopichand is a middle-aged man and unemployed for quite sometime. He feels he has not been very useful in his life or tp others. His luck is turned around when he is then given an important assignment to trace stolen diamonds. He is good friends with his young neighbor Bela, who assists him in investigating the trail of the stolen diamonds and retrieving them back to the owner. This job is however not so easy and they will have to risk a lot to reach to the bottom if the mystery. The film is directed and produced by Naresh Kumar. The music is composed by Usha Khanna. The star cast includes Raj Kapoor, Zeenat Aman, Rajendra Kumar, Viju Khote, Sujit Kumar, Pinchoo Kapoor, Raj Kishore, Prem Chopra, Ram Mohan, Chandrashekhar, Rajan Haksar, Gurbachan, Manmohan Krishna, Mehal Mittal, Jugnu, Ramlal and Vinod Mehra.
