Gramophone Singer is an Emotional-Romantic Musical-Family Melodrama Film crafted with excellence by Ramchandra Thakur. The Story revolves around the life of Sundardas (played by Surendra)- a famous gramophone singer- who gets married to Mohini (played by Prabha)- a sweet girl and had a child and lived in the village. He gets an offer to perform in Bombay and meets with Tilottama (played by Bibbo)-a famous singer and they fell in love and this leads to heartbreak for Mohini- but fate plays its role and Mohini gets reunited with him, leading to consequences.
