The story of the movie revolves around people obsessed with getting a green card or citizenship in the United States of America. The film depicts all the complexities and challenges immigrants have to face to obtain a green card. The film has a humorous take on the Indian as well as other immigrants of various nationalities that seek the Green Card in the US and sometimes have no luck but don’t give up hope. There are also issues pertaining to undocumented immigrants that have settled for years but have no legal identity in the country. The film is a romantic comedy but also has loads of drama and emotions in good measure.
The movie is directed and produced by Bala Rajasekharuni and Mark Oliver Rylance. The music is composed by Pete Sears. The cinematography is by Joe M Johnston and Scott Spears.
