Roshni is brought up by her mother after her father abandoned them and left. Roshni hones her skill in singing and one day is introduced to businessman Rahul. Roshni and Rahul get attracted to each other and he asks her to come to Hong Kong with him. Meanwhile Jaggu is an obsessed fan of Roshni and says he will do anything for her if she asks of him, but she ignores him repeatedly. He however persists and is a die hard fan of her. On the way to Hong Kong, after reaching the airport, Roshni’s bag is screened and a large amount of cocaine is detected. She pleads innocent and looks for Rahul for support, but he has vanished, putting her in trouble. Roshni is then arrested and put in jail along with other inmates.
Roshni feels betrayed and wants revenge from Rahul. She now has no way of getting out. Meanwhile Jaggu comes to meet her in jail and she is surprised. He promises to help her out. She asks him to search for her dad, who is a wealthy man in Hong Kong. He tries to help her but in vain. Ultimately Jaggu and Roshni escape prison and she gets Rahul arrested for deceiving her.
The film is directed by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Yash Johar. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and the lyrics are written by Anand Bakshi. The star cast includes Sanjay Dutt,Rahul Roy, Sridevi, Anupam Kher,Avtar Gill, Laxmikant Berde, Anang Desai,Tom Alter, Bob Christo, Soni Razdan, Reema Lagoo and Kunika.
