Guru Shankar has been dreaming of one day joining the police force and works hard towards it, however he fails to make any progress in that matter. Frustrated and dejected, Guru then becomes an alcoholic and turns to crime in a big way. His lady love Uma is by his side at all times supporting him. Guru then ends up joining Amrit Pal’s gang and decides to take revenge on the police force that has kept him away from his ambitions. One day gangster Vicky comes to know that a cop has infiltrated into his gang but doesn’t know who it is.
The film is directed by Umesh Mehra and produced by R CPrakash and G Venkateshwaran. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri and the story is written by Ram Kelkar and Javed Siddiqui. The star cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Sridevi, Shakti Kapoor, Amrit Pal, Roopesh Kumar, Disco Shanti, Sudhir Dalvi, Arun Bakshi, Yunus Perwaiz, Sameer Kakkad, Mac Mohan, Bob Christo, Asrani, Guddi, Maruti, Vijayendra and Nutan.
