The story of the movie revolves around the ruthless and dirty student politics in universities. Sometimes certain students get so involved into the politics that they have no way out but to go deeper into the muck. Anirudh, played by Jimmy Shergill, falls in love with Niharika, played by Hrishita Bhatt, when they meet at college. However their blissful and romantic meetings are turned to utter disasters when student politics enter the scene. The main two characters of the politics are Gaurishankar Pandey, played by Ashutosh Rana and Ranvijay Singh, played by Irrfan Khan, who are the leaders of two rival groups.
Unfortunately Aniruddh, too gets involved into the dirty politics and things start spiraling out of control. One day he accidentally shoots Niharika’s cousin. In panic he goes off to Mumbai with the assistance of Ranvijay. However he later learns that Ranvijay has a ulterior motive of marrying Niharika. He even kills Gaurishankar. Gaushankar’s brother encourages Anirudh to kill Ranvijay to avenge his brother’s death. In the Kumbh Mela a fierce battle ensues, where Anirudh finally kills Ranvijay.
The movie is written and directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and produced by Karma Network Productions. The music is composed by Jatin Lalit.
