Ram is an honest and hard working union leader of a well known company in the city. He always stands up for the rights of workers and makes sure they get the best deal from the company management. He even demands they get a good bonus. The company manager Ravi is a crook and always tries to make things complicated. The workers are not happy with the management and decide to go on strike but Ram stops
them. He asks them to wait and see what the new owner Sita has to say. Sita is a beautiful yet headstrong lady. Ravi brainwashes her against the workers and thus she has negative feelings towards them. One day Sita hears Ram singing and has no idea that he is the union leader of her company. He himself has no idea that she is the new boss. Both fall in love. But on knowing the truth he refuses to marry her as there is a vast difference in their status but she accepts him the way he is and assures him that he will continue his work in the company and she will be a dutiful wife at home. One of the businessmen in the Chamber of Commerce is murderd one day by one of the workers and all hell braeks lose. As a new chairperson, Sita is furious and decides to close the factory permanently. The workers protest and Ram takes the matter to court.There is not a conflict and power struggle between husband and wife. Ravi takes advantage of this situation and tries to kidnap and kill Sita. The workers however come to her rescue. That is when she realizes her mistake and reunites with Ram. The film is directed by Narayana Rao and produced by Srikant Nahata. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The star cast includes Jeetendra, Jayaprada, Rohini Hattangadi, Pran, Shakti Kapoor, Kader Khan, Viju Khote, Raza Murad and Jayshree T.
