Los Angeles based Yudi, played by Saif Ali Khan has had a successful book released few years back and still enjoying the fruits of his labour. Money doesn’t last forever since he stopped working and is now running low on finances. To make matters more complicated the publishers have now found another writer Aanchal, played by Ileana D’Cruz to write romantic novels for them, letting go of Yudi.

Desperate for work and being pursued by his annoying ex girlfriend Vishakha, played by Kalki Koechlin, Yudi gets an offer to write Hollywood inspired Hindi films by superstar Armaan, played by Govinda. He then seduces Aanchal and they bond. She even helps him in writing the movie script for Armaan. At a hotel stay they both decide to keep it a no-strings attached kind of relationship and make love.

Meanwhile Aachan leaves to take a flight and Yudi realizes he is falling love with her and confesses to her but she declines saying she just wants to be friends. Heart broken Yudi presents his completed script to Armaan who loves it. Yudi then meets Aanchal and tells her lets take things slow and not rush into a relationship just yet and she agress, thus beginning their Happy Ending. The movie is directed by Raj and D.K and produced by Saif Ali Khan, Dinesh Vijan and Sunil Lulla. The music is composed by Sachin-Jigar.
