Charlie, played by Shahrukh Khan wants to take revenge from business tycoon Charan, played by Jackie Shroff who had falsely framed his father for stealing diamonds worth $15 million. He hatches a plan to frame Charan in a bigger Diamond deal in Dubai at the Atlantis Hotel on Christmas Eve. He thus sets up a team of members from different backgrounds and different talents to put them to good use.
The team consists of Tammy, played by Boman Irani, Jag, played by Sonu Sood, Rohan, played by Vivaan Shah and a lookalike of Charan’s son Vicky called Nandu, played by Abhishek Bachchan. The team decides to participate in a dance competition as the room that will be given to the dancing troupe is connected to the vault where the diamonds are kept. Now none of the men are good in dancing so they look out for a dance teacher and eventually Nandu introduces them to Mohini, played by Deepika Padukone who is a Marathi bar dancer. Unaware of their plan she trains them in dancing.
Charlie, who now grows close to Mohini, confesses that his father committed suicide in prison because of Charan’s evil plan and bribing the lawyers hence she too helps in their plan of stealing the diamonds. They eventually win the dance competition and manage to get the diamonds, thereby getting Charan and his son arrested. The movie is directed by Farah Khan and produced by Karim Morani and Gauri Khan. The music is composed by Vishal Shekhar, Dr Zeus and Manj Musik.
