One day Rafiq finds Tauqir’s old camera with a half used roll in it. He is curious to see what the roll has and develops it to find the picture of a sister and brother who is also incidentally missing. He accompanies his mother to The Association of Parents of Disappeared Persons (APDP). There he sees the sister from the photograph Shaheen. Later he gets into a series of different jobs. His father meanwhile is drowning in his misery of losing a son and the stress of his job. He is fed up of the meaningless violence on the once peaceful streets of Kashmir. Meanwhile a friend of Rafiq visits him late one night and aggravates the families suspicion due to which his father gets shot.
