Nikhil, played by Siddharth Malhotra is a young entrepreneur who loves Karishma, played by Adah Sharma. She asks him to arrange for Rs. 50 million for a work contract. Karishma’s younger sister Meeta, played by Parineeti Chopra is an IITian and a geek who had stolen money from her father to run away to China, resulting in his heart attack. She decides to come back to meet her father but Karisham asks Nikhil to keep her away.

 

Karishma however, has returned with an intention of robbing his father of more money to pay off a Rs. 100 Million loan she took from a Chinese firm forging her father’s signature. She meets Nikhil and over a period of seven days they fall in love, but Nikhil doesn’t want to cheat Karishma. Nikhil helps her hack her father’s account to get the money but makes her apologize to her family. He wants to marry Meeta and decides to run away with her but sees Karishma and changes his mind.

 

Nikhil confront Meeta that she is always ready to run away not thinking of anyone else and he cannot say anything to Karishma even though she has mentally tortured him. He leaves Meeta. Meeta then decides to run away to China without telling anyone. Meanwhile Krishma learns of Nikhil and Meeta’s love and tells him to leave the wedding and go after her. Meeta and Nikhil finally unite.

The movie is directed by Vinil Mathew and produced by Karan Johar, Vikas Bahl, Viramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap. The music is composed by Vishal-Shekhar.
