The story of Hattrick are a blend of three different stories.
Dr Satyajit, played by Nana Patekar is a well respected doctor but is rude to patients. A group of interns who are assigned under him realize that he only insists on giving bed to patients who have hopes of getting better and refuse all others. Especially in a city like Mumbai where bed space is dear, doctors like Satyajit have developed this kind of mindset.
Meanwhile Saby and Kashmira fall in love and get married. They inform their respective families and they all give their blessings. After the marriage however, the couple realize they have very different likes and interests. Saby loves Cricket and watched each and every match without fail, while Kashmira doesn’t care for the sport. This causes a rift in the relationship.
Hemu, works as a janitor at a London airport and is hoping to get British citizenship like his other relatives. His wife is supportive but doesn’t aspire for citizenship but his daughter is very inclined towards British culture and traditions.
The movie is directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. The music is composed by Pritam and the cinematography is by Nirmal Jani.
