Sagar is a wealthy and lonely man who drowns his miseries in alcohol. One night after a drunken frenzy, Sagar sees a homeless boy who is deaf and dumb and names him Raja. He falls in love with a girl called Neelam and they both give Raja a lot of love and attention, just like they would their own son. Sagar is unable to understand why Raja is so sad. One day when he takes Raja to the fair, he is upset at seeing a man. It is the same man called Ranjit who has killed Raja’s mother along with Surendra. Sagar begins to understand the story and tries to put all the pieces of the puzzle together. Soon they uncover the story of how Raja’s life was wrecked.
The film is directed and produced by Kirti Kumar. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri and the story is written by Fazil. The cinematography is by Lawrence D'Souza and choreography is by Chinni Prakash. The star cast includes Govinda, Neelam, Sujitha, Anupam Kher, Bob Anthony, Johnny Lever, Om Shivpuri, Satyen Kappu, Raj Kiran and Ashalata.
