Arjun Waghmare, played by Partho Gupte, is a happy go lucky and friendly child. He loses his father at a young age and to make ends meet he works at a tea stall to earn some money. One day when is out and about doing his work as usual, he sees a group of children waiting for their coach. It turns out they are waiting skating coach, Aniket, played by Saqib Saleem. He sees the children skate and gets attracted to the sport. He dreams of one day skating, but realize that skates are very expensive, and he will never be able to afford them.
He confides in his friends about his dream to skate so they all get together and build him a pair of skates made with garbage and recycled materials found in a dumpster. They name the skates Hawaa Hawaai. He practices skating everyday after work and Aniket notices him and is impressed by his talent. He decides to train him. Seeing his hard work and dedication, Aniket decides to send Arjun to compete in the district level skating competition. But just before they can prepare for the race Arjun falls ill and is diagnosed with Hepatitis. Aniket takes him to the hospital and realizes how poor he is and despite all the hardships still works hard at practicing skating.
After Arjun recovers, Aniket helps him enter the district level race and he wins. He later helps Arjun and his friends get admission to a good school. Hawaa Hawaai is written, directed and produced by Amole Gupte. The music is composed by Hitesh Sonik.
