Lallan, played by Rajpal Yadav is an honest and hard working youth. Not wanting to while away his time, like the other boys from his village in Bijapur, he gets a job as a security guard in Mumbai. He is struggling to make ends meet but also is very dedicated to his job. Whenever he finds any free time he makes sure he talks to the love of his life Saroja who stays in the village. They both have been together for a long time and plan on settling as soon as Lallan has enough money to ask her father her hand in marriage.
However one day Lallan’s world comes crashing down when he hears of Saroja’s marriage being fixed by her father to another man. He finds out that this man is much older than her and is offering the family a lot of money to help out Saroja’s brother in his professional aspirations. This really breaks Lallan’s heart. All the hard work he had been putting in to save money for his marriage now seems useless for him. But he is not one to give up so easily; he will do his best to get Saroja to marry him, come what may.
The movie is directed by Dileep Shukla and produced by Nazim Rizvi. The star cast includes Makrand Anaspure, Rajpal Yadav, Preeti Mehra, Manoj Joshi, Ravi Jhankal, Bomi Dotiwala and Ketaki Dave. The music is composed by Surendra Sodhi and Vijay Verma.
