Gopi, plyed by Ganesh Acharya is a happy go lucky jovial guy who enjoys the simple pleasures of life. He believes in humble living and respecting his elders. Gopi, who is a little on the heavier side lives with his grandfather, played by Prem Chopra. His grandfather has brought him up to be the man he is today and he owes it all to him. He is the only family Gopi has ever known, having very little information about his parents.
One day he learns that his parents didn’t get along very well and always fought. They had apparently separated due to a heated argument and surprisingly Gopi also has a twin brother who now lives with his mother in the city of Mumbai. This information comes as a huge surprise and shock to Gopi and he decides to go and meet them.
On seeing his brother Shiv, played by Maninder Singh, Gopi realizes, being twins how poles apart they are, not just by looks and size but by personality and character as well. Shiv is a cop and takes Gopi’s help to nab a wanted gangster called Baba, played by Hanif Hilal. Hey Bro is directed by Ajay Chandhok and produced by Vidhi Acharya. The music is composed by Nitz N Sony and Pranav Vatsa.
