Suraj, and Seema fall in love. However, Suraj’s father is a police inspector and brought up in a middle class family, whereas Seema is the daughter of an influent and rich man. Seema’s father isn’t happy about the union and creates misunderstanding between the couple to make them separate. Seema thinks that Suraj is just greedy after her money and starts to dislike him. However thinks go even worse when she learns that she is pregnant with his child. She then moves away to the Himalayas where she gives birth to her son Abhay.
Abhay grows up disliking his father and wants to locate him to find answers, as to why he did this to him and his mother. Suraj meanwhile becomes the assistant commissioner of police and Abhay happens to save his life. He brings him home and his mother is shocked to see him and so is he. Soon the family comes to know of the misunderstandings and they unite. The movie is directed by Pankaj Parashar and produced by Vinod Khanna. The music is composed by Anu Malik and the lyrics are written by Dev Kohli and Nida Fazli. The star cast includes Vinod Khanna, Akshay Khanna, Hema Malini, Danny Denzongpa Denzongpa, Amrish Puri, Johnny Lever, Satish Shah, Vikram Bhatia, Puneet, Anil, Saazia, Rocky, Umesh and Anjala.
