Sultan is a kind hearted and compassionate man. The circumstances in his life have forced him to become a gangster. He however is still a sympathetic person by nature and will never hurt an innocent. He trains a man called Damodar to be a gangster like him, but little does Sultan know that the former is not as kindhearted as her is. When Sultan is jailed for a crime, Damodar rules the city and terrorizes the innocent and poor people. He is the complete opposite of what Sultan is and stands for. When Sultan returns from jail, he is shocked to find that Damodar has taken over the entire underworld and is wrecking havoc in the city at Sultan’s expense.
The movie is directed by Talat Jani and produced by Shakil Chisti. The music is composed by Nadeem Shravan and the lyrics are written by Sameer and Anwar Sagar. The screenplay is written by Meeraq Mirza. The star cast includes Dharamendra, Mukesh Khanna, Johnny Lever, Hitesh,Bharat Kapoor, Arun Bakshi, Anil Nagrath, Dinesh Anand, Deep Dhillon, Raghu Raj,Gajendra Chauhan, Rubaina Khan, Seema Vaz, Srilekha Govil and Neelam Mehra.
