Ravi, played by Ajay Devgn is known as a courageous and strong man in his village. He decides to visit his mother Savitri and sister Padma who are living a unhappy life. His mother tells him how the zamindar Sher Singh abetted his father’s suicide by accusing him of robbing a temple. Ravi swears revenge and tries killing Singh but fails. He burns down Ravi’s house but they all escape. Ravi beats up Singh’s brother-in-law and later insults his daughter Rekha, played by Tamannaah Bhatia. She takes revenge on him by unleashing a Tiger on the village. When she herself is about to get attacked Ravi saves her.
Rekha falls in love with Rabi and helps him be safe from her father and his evil plans. Ravi learns that Padma is in live with Singh’s brother-in-laws son Shakti. Singh tells them to get married thus they will ill-treat Padma and control Ravi. Ravi on the other hand uses Rekha, on her advice in keeping Singh and his goons in check. When Rekha tells him that she is pregnant, he begs Ravi to marry her. Thus he forces Singh to return all illegally acquired property back to the villagers.
Later Singh over hears Ravi and Rekha talking that she faked the pregnancy plus he isn’t the real Ravi, as the real Ravi died in an accident and entrusted him to look after his family. Singh is infuriated and tries to kill Ravi but the tiger who he previously fought saves his life and Singh apologizes to Ravi, his mother and the entire village.
