There is a man on the loose who paralyses people before killing them. He then leaves a note for the cops to read. Based on the handwriting, the cops determine that the killer is an old man. They then comes to know that the killer is someone called Senapathy, who kills a corrupt official for trying to take a bribe from an old lady. Chandru is Senapathy’s son and an RTO official. He is in love with Aishwarya, but Sapna also loves him and along with her mother are taking advantage of Chandru’s innocence. One day the cops come to nab Senapathy at his house but he escapes, as he uses the art of Varma Kalai.

His wife then tells the cops, how Senapathy was a freedom fighter in the pre-independence India. He was arrested and beaten in Kuala Lumpur. After his release, he comes back to India and reunites with his wife. Now he is a righteous man and will not tolerate anyone taking or asking for a bribe in his country. His son Chandru has had enough of this and flees. He however made a mistake by taking a bribe and giving a fake safety certificate to a bus owner.
