Sandeep Chawdhary is a qualified engineer but decides to take up a temporary job as a sports coach to make ends meet. He applies at the Bishop Westcott Boys’s School at Ranchi and gets the job. When he enters the school he is given a warm welcome by all especially by the history teacher Anuradha who he becomes close to. Soon he and Anuradha fall in love. This however doesn’t go down well with one of the students who has been obsessed with her. Soon Sandeep’s team brings home the football trophy, restoring the lost glory of the school. The film is directed by Prakash Jha and produced by Manmohan Shetty and Pradeep Uppoor. The music is composed by Vanraj Bhatia. The screenplay and dialigues are written by Gulzar. The star cast includes Raj Kiran, Deepti Naval, Shafi Inamdar, Nikhil, Satish Anand and Deepa.
