Suraj is brought up in a wealthy family and is a prince. He lives with his paternal grandmother Raajmata, and is brought up in a protected environment. Raajmata wants Suraj to marry Preet who is of their stature but he is not interested in her. When there is too much pressure, he runs away from home and meets a girl called Anupriya and falls in love with her. One day however, things take a turn for the worse when Anupriya’s brother Jeetu is kidnapped for a ransom of Rs 50 Lakhs. She asks Suraj for help and he readily gives her the money. A few days later however, not only is the money missing, but Anupriya is found dead. Suraj then is the only one who has to put the pieces of the puzzle together with the help of a ghost that resembles Anupriya.
The film is directed and produced by Surendra Mohan. The music is composed by Nadeem Sharvan and the story is written by Ranbir Pushp. The cinematography is by Kaka Thakur. The star cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Raj Babbar, Mandakini, Poonam Dhillon, Satish Shah, Saeed Jaffrey, Amrish Puri, Tiku Talsania, Yashwant dutt, Om Shivpuri, Gulshan Grover, Amrish Puri and Sushma Seth.
