Bunty and Pinky love each other and plan to marry soon, but their respective parents are against this marriage and find life partners for them. Pinky asks her aunt for help and she suggests that both marry the people their parents have chosen for them. After marriage however, they should upset their respective spouses so much that they are forced to leave them thus the two lovers can get back together. Pinky and Bunty agree to the plan and get married as told. Soon they start put the plan into motion by leaving their respective spouses on the wedding night and going out. Bunty pretends he is a womanizer and a heavy drinker, while Pinky goes out and gets drunk and returns. Pinky’s husband Arjun and Bunty’s wife Shobha are upset with their behavior but try and adjust.

 

One day Shobha and Arjun meet by chance and realize that their spouses have been fooling them and trying to break up the marriage. Thus to make them jealous, they start meeting each other. Soon Pinky realizes she is falling for Arjun, while Bunty falls for Shobha. The movie is directed and produced by Firoz Irani. The music is composed by Anand Raj Anand and the lyrics are written by Zameer Kazmi and Rani Malik. The star cast includes Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Prem Chopra, Adi Irani, Ashutosh Bajpai, Anil Dhawan, Chandrakant Pandya, Arvind Kirad, Aruna Irani and Reeta Bhaduri.
