The story of Housefull 4 revolves around the theme of reincarnation. It is set in the year 1419, in Sitamgarh, when three couples were madly in love. However due to an evil conspiracy by a cruel king, the lovers somehow get separated and meet once again in the present year 2019 in London. The couples end up meeting each other by a chance of fate and fall in love yet again. However, this time the partners get switched and each guy gets the other girl. This leads to a lot of confusion and chaos. However history repeats itself yet again and the three boisterous couples, reach the town of Sitamgarh again. This time they are hell bent of learning the truth and will not leave till they find out everything.
The movie is directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Fox Star Studios and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The story of the movie is written by Sajid Nadiadwala and Sara Bodinar. The star cast includes Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, Amanda Rosario, Ranjeet, Boman Irani, Sharad Kelkar, Paresh Rawal, Pradeep Rawat, Saurabh Shukla, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Guru Randhawa and Dr. Zeus. The music of the movie is composed by Sohail Sen, Farhad Samji, Sandeep Shirodkar and Panjabi Hit Squad. The cinematographer Sudeep Chatterjee.
