Pandupatti is a middle class havaldar and a widower. He desires that his only daughter Madhuri, marry a police inspector some day. However Madhuri loves Bollywood actors Sanjay Dutt, Govinda and Shahrukh Khan and would rather be an actress to be close to them, rather than be married to an ordinary person. Things take a different turn when a Govinda look-a-like enters her life. Not only is he an inspector but he also falls in love with her. But when the crime in the city increases he is forced to halt his wedding plans to Madhuri. There are reports that some goons are planning to abduct the CM and replace him with a duplicate. He along with a Sanjay Dutt and Shahrukh Khan look-a-like now join forces to stop these evil acts.
The movie is directed by R S Thakur and is produced by Bindu Singh. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri and Rashid, and the lyrics are written by Rani Malik, Satya Prakash and Nawab Arzoo. The star cast includes Shabbir Khan, Anand, Kishore Bhanushali, Shelly Choudhary, Rajesh Puri, Gajendra Chauhan,Rajni,Shehzad Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Yunus Perwaiz, Rajnibala, Tiku Talsania and Annapurna.
