Armaan, played by Arshad Warsi is a successful and most sorted fashion photographer in London. He is dating a high profile fashion editor Gehna, played by Dia Mirza. The two are very much in love and life is almost perfect for them, until something bizarre begins to happen in Armaan’s life. He is unable to sleep well at night and thinks it is chronic insomnia. But in reality he actually hears people’s voices that no one else seems to hear. Another habit that has got to him is speaking to invisible people.
Soon Armaan realizes he speaks to people, who no one else can see, because they are souls of people who have died but haven’t been able to cross over. He then decides to help the souls. Two in particular become close to him; one is an older man Virender Kapoor, played by Boman Irani and the other is a young girl called Carol, played Zehra Naqvi. Meanwhile Gehna is fed up of Armaan’s lunatic behavior and walks out on him. She gets involved in a horrific car accident and dies. On learning this Armaan is devastated but pleads with God and she comes back to life. Thus the two get married and Armaan no longer hears the voices of dead people.
The movie is directed by Kabeer Kaushik and produced by Arshad Warsi and Maria Goretti. The music is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
