Kartik, played by Shreyas Talpade and Rishi, played by Tusshar Kapoor are work colleagues and dislike each other. They meet Shabana, played by Minissha Lamba at a beauty contest and fall head over heels in love with her. They find her very nervous and vulnerable and try to make her feel better. In the process they develop a great friendship but at the back of their minds are thinking of ways to win her over.
The beauty contest is won by another tall and pretty girl and Shabana is heartbroken. The two boys Kartik and Rishi and also disappointed at her losing. She returns home and is followed by both of them. She confesses that she likes them both but her life is complicated and who she marries is not in her hands.
They get confused by her reply until they meet her irrational gangster uncle Punju Don, who sees the gravity of the situation and wants to get Shabana married to one of them. The two boys are trapped and don’t know to get out of this situation and from the clutches of her crazy gangster uncle. Will they get out of this alive is for the audience to wait and watch.
Hum Tum Shabana is directed by Sagar Ballary and produced by Sunil Chainani, Sameer Chand Srivastava and Subhash Dawar. The music is composed by Sachin-Jigar.
