Humayun is a Biographical-Historical-Emotional-Romantic War Thriller Family Drama Film crafted with excellence by Mehboob Khan. The Story revolves around the life of Mughal emperor Humayun (played by Ashok Kumar)- who gets crowned as the next ruler of Delhi after his father Babur passes away- Humayun sacrifices his kingdom to save the Rajkumari. Hamida Bano (played by Nargis) is a commoner with whom Humayun falls in love, but who turns down his offer of marriage claiming that women, for all kings, are mere playthings.He strives to defend his state from attacking armies but is forced to flee to Iran after losing Delhi to his enemies.
