Rohit thus promises to marry her and takes her to the hospital for surgery to get her eye sight back. Just before the bandages are removed, Rohit gets killed by one of Durga’s suitors. The doctor then takes her to Switzerland for further treatment.
There Durga meets Raj, played by Bobby Deol, who was also Rohit’s friend but doesn’t know that Durga was in love with him. He thus falls in love with her and decides to marry her. At their engagement Rohit is known to be alive and recuperating in a hospital. He is shocked to see Durga but she has never seen him and he doesn’t even tell the truth to Raj. Later Durga touches the sculpture she made of Rohit and realizes that it is her lost love and Raj realizes that they both are meant to be together and steps aside.
