Devkishan is an honest and hard working school master living with his wife and sons Bhawani and Shiv. As they grow up, Bhawani ends up becoming a goon and makes crime his livelihood. Righteous Devkishan doesn’t tolerate this and asks Bhawani to leave the house. Soon Shiv unable to find a lucrative job, leaves for the city and comes to know that Bhawani has become a wealthy businessman. He goes to him for help but he refuses him. One day Bhawani is shot by gangster Jagtap and taken to the hospital. Shiv decides to take over from his brother but he rejects his idea and asks him to return to their parents. This humiliates Shiv and he joins Jagtap to teach Bhawani a lesson.
The film is directed by N Chandra and produced by MadanMohla. The music is composed by LakmikantPyarelal. The star cast includes Dharamendra,Anil Kapoor,Kimi Katkar, Meenakshi Sheshadri, Shafi Inamdar,Om Shivpuri,Anupam Kher, Ashok Kumar,Sudhir,Mack Mohan,Sulbha Despande, Dinesh Hingoo, Subha Khote and Achyut Potdar.
