Sunder Singh lives a middle class life with his wife Lajwanti and three sons Kishen, Bheema and Vijay. They live a fairly peaceful life but lack financial stability. The elder sons Bheema and Kishen are up to no good and are mostly playing pranks or wrestling. Sunder decides that buying a tractor will help them get more liquidity and make ends meet. So Lajwanti gives some gold to him to sell, while the sons get the remaining cash from Lala Bhagwandas. They then move to the city to have a better life with their younger brother Vijay, who is a police inspector. The film is directed by Shibu Mitra and produced by Manoo Ahuja. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The star cast includes Randhir Kapoor, Raj Kiran, Ranjeeta, Shoma Anand, Jeevan, Madan Puri, Amjad Khan, Asha Sachdev and Leela Mishra.
