Ashok, played by Saif Ali Khan and Kumar, played by Riteish Deshmukh are two close friends. Ashok’s wealthy father has been in a coma for 6 years and his evil uncle Singh, played by Ram Kapoor, wants to take over his property by getting Ashok out of his way. During a board meeting Singh spikes Ashok and Kumar’s drink and they start behaving like dogs. They are then taken to the mental institution for treatment.
There the doctor treats them and accidentally releases Ashok and Kumar’s lookalikes who are taken to the mansion by their girlfriends. Singh learns that they are not the original boys and uses them to get hold of the property while the original boys learn of the evil plan but are stuck in the hospital. They escape prison with the help of their uncle’s lookalike and come to the mansion.
Meanwhile, during another board meeting the real Ashok and Kumar try to expose their evil uncle but fail. His uncle gets two sets of new look a likes with plastic surgery of them both and the boys in turn get another lookalike of another Singh. Amidst all the confusion, drama and comedy, Ashok’s father comes out of his coma and recognizes his son and his friend and gets Singh arrested.
The movie is directed by Sajid Khan and produced by Vashu Bhagnani. The music is composed by Himesh Reshammiya and Sandeep Shirodkar.
