Varun, played by Nagesh Kukunoor returns from USA after 12 years and marries the love of his life Ashwini, who is a doctor. They both decide to stay back in India and have a beautiful life together. He puts his plans to action and starts a call center, while Ashwini harbors dreams of starting her own clinic soon. Ashwini’s friend Seema is married to Sanjeev and they have a contented and blissful family life. Ashwini is inspired looking at them and wants kids of her own. She brings up the topic of children to Varun many times but every time he turns her request down. He is of the opinion that they both are good enough for each other and don’t need anyone else.
Meanwhile one of Varun’s attractive and young employees Menaka, has a crush on Varun and tries to seduce him. Varun flatly brushes her off without any controversy and confides in Ashwini about the same. Already in despair, Ashwini doesn’t trust Varun’s word and decides to divorce him. Later she realizes her mistake and apologizes for not having faith in her husband. The movie is directed by Nagesh Kukunoor and produced by Devika Bahudhanam, Elahe Hiptoola and Nagesh Kukunoor. The music is composed by Salim-Sulaiman and Trickbaby.
