Simran, played by Priyanka Shah is a quintessential girl next door. She is a happy-go-lucky girl and lives life to the fullest on her own terms. She is however from a posh and modern society, which is high maintenance and classy. Her family puts the condition to her, that she can inherit the millions worth of property in a village only if she agrees to marry a local boy from the village. Shocked at this condition, Simran procrastinates and makes her decision to go ahead with the idea.
She then meets Punjab Singh, played by Vedant Bali who is a local farmer’s son. He is arrogant and yet down to earth. His charm is contagious but Simran is very focused on her goal. She decides to be completely unemotional and marry Punjab and then after acquiring the property to dump him like nobody’s business. But first she must stay with him for at least 6 months. During these 6 months after a lot of tiffs and arguments, Simran and Punjab eventually become good friends.
Just when she thought nothing more could go wrong, Simran finds herself falling in love with Punjab and his simplicity. She feels guilty at how she has fooled him and feels bad at lying to him. Eventually she tells him the truth and they both get married, living a life happy ever after. The movie is directed by Pankaj Batra and produced by Rocky Daswani. The music is composed by Sham Balkar, Toshi Sabri and Sharib Sabri.
