Randhir Singh, played by Sunny Deol is a Wall Street Banker who is scared of commitment and has been single for the longest time. He is finally, now engaged to be married to his over-bearing and domineering girlfriend. His life seems like a rollercoaster to him and he doesn’t know if he has made the right decision of getting married.
Tiku Verma, played by Kangana Ranaut, is an aspiring musician. She has a lot of insecurities, especially since she lost her parents at a young age. Her loneliness has gotten the better of her and thus she stays with her disrespectful and high maintenance boyfriend in the hope of feeling loved and secure. On New Year’s Eve when Tiku walks into her apartment, she finds Randhir in her house in her bed. She is shocked and scared. He later apologizes saying that he thought it was his house since his house number is also the same and incidentally his keys opened her door lock too.
Tiku and Randhir become good friends and talk the night away sharing their experiences and heart’s desires. Just then her boyfriend walks in thinking Tiku is having an affair and things get messed up. On the other hand, Randhir’s girlfriend, finds out about Tiku and is furious. Meanwhile, all the doubts and false accusations start blooming into real feelings between Tiku and Randhir.
The movie is directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru. The film is produced by Kishan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar. The music is composed by Pritam Chakraborty, Falak Shabir, R D Burman and Anupam Amod.
