In a male dominated world, women have little say. And this is happening not just in the rural areas but also in the modern city concrete jungles of today. Men take advantage of their power and money and are quick to pass a judgment on women who dare to raise their voice and show any kind of valor. Such is the story of ‘In The Name Of Tai’.
Tai means elder sister, as she is fondly called, by all the villagers where she is working for their betterment. She is educated and ambitious. Tai uses her education in the right path by helping the less privileged and troubled villagers. She has been consistent with her work on freeing the land from corrupt land owners and politicians and giving it back to the people who rightfully own it.
The movie is written, directed and produced by Ujjwal V. Thengdi. The music is composed by Ujjal V. Thengdi and cinematography is by Ajay Arya. The editing is done by Dilip Kotalgi. The star cast includes Amar Chowdhury, Amir Talwalkar, Bal Vaidya, Hemant Raut, Kalpesh Mehta, Mahesh Thakur, Pallavi, Ujwal Thengdi, Asrani, Vilas Ujawne and Suzanne Bernert.
