The long-awaited sequel to the all-time classic of 1996, 'Indian' is finally happening. Titled as Indian 2 the movie brings Kamal Haasan to the silver screen after 28 years. Directed by S. Shankar, this film is the sequel to that riveting saga that kept audiences enthralled two decades ago. Kamal Haasan returns to this most iconic character, which already made waves with the powerful and enigmatic aspect. This time he is paired opposite the headstrong, practical, bold woman played by Rakul Preet Singh. Although details about her role are kept under wraps, what has been gleaned from the recent song does hint that Rakul's character in the movie is pretty strong and compelling. On the other hand, one really looks forward to the dynamic chemistry that Kamal Haasan is supposed to share with Rakul Preet Singh. With her strong screen presence and dynamic personality, one hopes for the welding of a new and different element into the film.
