Captain Ravi falls in love with an orphan named Seema and soon they both get married. They both settle into marital but unfortunately their happiness doesn’t last very long. One night when Ravi is out of town for an important assignment, a man breaks into their house and rape Seema. She is traumatized and ends her life. When Ravi comes to know of this he is devastated and in fury goes to kill the culprit. He shoots the man point blank and then surrenders himself to the military court. In court the news spreads that the man has survived. This makes Ravi more angry and he breaks away and reaches the hospital where the culprit is recuperating from his wounds. Ravi is however unable to shoot the man as some officers have seen him. He then notices the man’s daughter Pinky and abducts her. Soon a bond is created between Pinky and Ravi but the latter will not give up his thirst for vengeance for his wife’s death. The film is directed by Shibu Mitra and produced by S K Kapur. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The star cast includes Rajesh Khanna, Tina Munim, Padmini Kolhapure, Shakti Kapoor, Joy Mukherjee, Om Shivpuri, Chandrashekhar, Tej Sapru, Bob Christo, Aruna Irani and Leena Dass.
