Inspector Ajit, played by Ajay Devgn has been assigned the job of nabbing terrorist Azhar Khan, played by Rahul Dev. He has murdered Ajit’s wife and is soon going to wreck havoc in Mumbai. Meanwhile Amjad, played by Akshay Kumar, drives an autorickshaw and takes his friend’s help to win his lover’s parents over so they can get married. He is also in the search of his missing brother Munna. Amjad’s friend Avinash, played by Tusshar Kapoor wants to be a film star but manages only to roles as an extra. He helps a new comer Indu to land a role in movies and the two fall in love. Soon their fate changes when they land a role in a big film.
Meghna, is a news reporter and likes Ajit but he is unable to reciprocate as he is still disturbed by his wife’s murder. It is later revealed that Azhar is none other than Amjad’s missing brother and has come back. He arrests Amjad in the hopes of nabbing Azhar. Azhar meanwhile holds passengers hostage at a railway station and asks for a helicopter to escape. Amjad is horrified to know that his brother is a terrorist and does it all in the name of jihad. He kills his brother Azhar and all his men.
The movie is directed by K. Subash and produced by Keshu Ramsay. The music is composed by Himesh Reshammiya.
