Anwar and Balbir have been the best of friends and have the same motive of being helpful to all. Balbir’s younger brother Vivek falls in love with a wealthy girl named Nisha, who is the daughter of industrialist Ranjit. Ranjit wants to demolish an old Ashram in their village and usurp the land for building his own properties. All his attempts at securing the land are made futile by Anwar and Balbir. Thus Ranjit gets the two men arrested on false charges and destroys the ashram by planting a bomb. The two men hear of this and escape from jail to avenge the death of the innocent from Ranjit and kill him in broad daylight. They are then sentenced to life in prison. Jailer RanaPratap is an honest man who keeps the peace in the prison. He tries to talk Anwar and Balbir into being better human beings. Meanwhile Vivek is arrested for murder of Nisha’s mother.
The film is directed by K C Bokadia and produced by I A Desai and Salim Khan. The music is composed by AnandMilind. The star cast includes Vinod Khanna,Rajnikanth,Raaj Kumar,
