Tina, played by Nauheed Cyrusi lives with her wealthy businessman widowed father. They have all the luxuries in the world and nothing to worry about, but one day all that changes. Her father’s health gets worse due to illness and he tells Tina a secret he has kept with him for years. He confides in his daughter that many years ago he had a mistress who gave birth to his daughter Nandini, played by Vidya Malvade. As if this shock wasn’t enough, he asks Nandini to come and stay with them. Tina dislikes Nandini due to the circumstances she came into their lives. As Nandini is elder to Tina, he asks her to take care of Tina if anything happens to him.
Soon their father passes away and the step sisters are left by themselves to take care of each other. Tina is a rebel and detests Nandini. She starts dating a mysterious stranger named Ranbir, played by Ashmit Patel. Nandini finds something odd about him and warns him to stay away from his sister, but he is persistent and so is Tina. After a while there is news of a man named Anwar who is murdered and Nandini informs the police on investigation that Ranbir is the killer. He is arrested but he pleads that he was with Tina at the time of the murder. Nandini must now find out the ugly truth for herself.
The movie is directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. The music is composed by Anu Malik.
