Uday Thakur, played by Manoj Bajpayee, is a ruthless and unforgiving police commissioner who nabs the culprits and brings them to justice. He doesn’t like to fail his assignments and if he thinks he is not succeeding, he will kill the perpetrators in false encounters. This brutal habit had made him get a transfer into the crime detection and counseling conducted by Dr. Mahek. Meanwhile a series of homicides have shaken up the city. They seem to look like the job of a psychotic serial killer. Uday is handed over the complicated case where he comes to the conclusion that the killings are very similar to the ones described in a book called ‘Inteqam-The perfect Game’.
Uday is of the opinion that the author of the book has something to do with the killings and goes to meet her. The author is the beautiful and sophisticated Avantika Suryavansh, played by Isha Koppikar. She is very intelligent and intuitive and not the least bit intimidated by Uday’s questions. Later on Uday learns that her mother was kept in the asylum for being insane. When Uday brings up the topic of her mother, a different side of Avantika is seen, which shocks everyone.
The movie is directed and produced by Pankaj Parashar. The music is composed by Anand Chitragupt and Milind Chitragupt. The cinematography is by Nirav Shah.
