Next story is of Anil who is the senior member of the family and is bed ridden on life supports. His family who has been tormented earlier with his authoritarian nature takes this as a small break and buys a TV, which Anil used to disapprove of. They watch a daily soap and fall in love with the protagonist. Meanwhile they hear the news that Anil is ok that will be home soon. Will their passion for the daily soap end henceforth?
The next story revolves around Aarti who lives a very mediocre life and is fed up of it. Her monotonous life has become a burden for her and she takes no interest in anything anymore until one day a surprise letter changes her life forever. Island City is directed by Ruchika Oberoi and produced by NFDC. The music is composed by Sagar Desai.
