The movie is an Indian take on William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet. Based in Banaras two feuding sand mafia gangs, namely; Kashyap’s and Mishra’s are at each other’s throats. There is immense violence and vengeance throughout. Kashyap has an 18 year old daughter Bachchi, played by Amyra Dastur who is fun loving but head strong. Mishra has a son named Rahul, played by Prateik Babbar is an attractive boy and likes guns and girls.
Rahul is trained to not fall for any girl and commit, especially not from another clan like the kashyap’s and Bachchi has been told about her limits by her family as well. But when it comes to matters of the heart, life can be pretty unpredictable. Eventually Rahul and Bachchi meet each other and fall in love. Knowing that their families are feuding and grave enemies they still get involved and listen to their hearts voice. Little do they know that the consequences of their actions are going to create havoc in their lives forever. The high-octane action in the movie is sure to keep you at the edge of your seat throughout.
The movie is directed by Manish Tiwary and produced by Dhaval Gada and Shailesh R Singh. The music is composed by Sachin-Jigar, Sachin Gupta and Krshna.
