Journalism and the media is these days more of a story creation rather than reporting what is right in front of you. This has created a big loophole in bringing the true news to the world. News channels have become more of a mockery rather than showing the plight of people. Such is the story of a girl Vidya who comes with big dreams of changing the world but becomes as conniving as the rest. Fresh out of her journalism course, Vidya joins in the reporting job in full swing. She beings with the entertainment section but is soon handed over the crime reporting.
Just when she thought her job wouldn’t get any more tougher, she gets a call from a girl called Sangeeta from Pune who claims to be harassed and molested by top police officials. Vidya decides to do a sting operation on the cops and records them live while molesting Sangeeta. Horrified at not being able to help Vidya and just being a spectator she feels guilty and sad. She pleads with her editor to not telecast the recording on TV but sadly that is exactly what the editor does to increase the TRP of the show. Vidya is shocked and disgusted at the editors act and leaves to go to her hometown. Later she comes back with a vengeance to give Sangeeta justice with a little help from her trusted friends.
