The film is set in Chunar, a tiny town near Varanasi. Ittu Si Baat is a slice-of-life narrative about an aspiring cricketer who falls in love with a childhood buddy. The film will take the spectator on Bittu's journey as he learns about his childhood love Sapna's desires and the lengths to which he will go to realise them.
