Joint family comes with its own set of struggles and problems. Sometimes it can be an advantage of having the entire family united together and live happily as one big family or sometimes it can create many complications. Not everyone is suited to adjust to living in a large joint family and that is when problems arise. When Rahul and Nandini get married, everything is blissful and happy for them. They are in love and don’t see the other side of the married life. Once the honeymoon period is over, everything starts coming face to face with Nandini as she is not very happy about living in a large joint family with Rahul.
Nandini pleads with Rahul to move out separately, where they can live peacefully. Rahul then unwillingly takes a transfer from his office and goes to Darjeeling, where he meets an old friend Raj. Raj was in love with Nandini during college days but could never tell her as she loves Rahul. The married couple are now living in a rented place, which she doesn’t like very much and asks to move to Mumbai but Rahul puts his foot down at this point. She then starts to confide in Raj and things get more complicated.
