Based in Kashmir, Major Amrish, played by Amrish Puri, lives with his small happy family consisting of his wife, son Ajay, played by Sunny Deol and daughter. Ajay one day has a terrible accident with a girl named Neha, played by Tabu. They are destined to meet again and begin to grow fond of each other. Eventually they fall in love. Ajay later finds out that Neha is a widow but he still loves her. He asks her father-in-law for her hand in marriage and he agrees. Sadly, Neha gets abducted by terrorists who ask to release their accomplice named Naved.
Ajay must now abduct Anita, played by Reema Sen, the home Minister’s daughter, if he wants to see Neha alive.
Later Ajay kidnaps Anita but comes to know the ugly truth that Neha is not what she seems to have been, In fact Neha is also a terrorist. He is shocked to learn this truth. Ajay then has to take the tough decision of killing Neha and saving Anita. The movie is directed by Guddu Dhanoa and produced by Harish Shah and Vinod Shah. The music is composed by Anand Raj Anand.
